Today's English phrase is“at the last minute.”For example: He's not a very good student. He usually studies for his exams at the last minute.

If you do something at the last minute. It means you do not do it until just before the time that thing is due. It implies that the work is done quickly and without attentionto detail and without much care.

It also shows that the person may have lessregardfor another person's time.Other examples of this phrase include:“I'll buy my brother's birthday gift tomorrow, at the last minute.”“I know it's at the last minute, but would you like to go see a movie?”
